About the Role
CBRE’s Investor Client Coverage team is seeking a Senior Coverage / Relationship Lead to expand and deepen the firm’s institutional client coverage capabilities. This group is comprised of senior enterprise leaders responsible for coordinating and delivering CBRE’s comprehensive services to its most strategic investor clients.
This role requires developing a deep understanding of client objectives and orchestrating cross-functional teams to meet complex, multi-dimensional client needs. A core responsibility of this role includes serving as a client board lead for client boards. This is a strategic function and includes shaping agendas around client priorities, driving disciplined follow through on decisions and commitments and connecting actions to the broader account strategy and operating model.
The ideal candidate brings experience in senior, client-facing roles, ideally within coverage banking, client relations or consulting and is also a highly effective operator. Experience operating within a large, matrixed organization is important for success.
As a key enterprise executive, this individual will manage the strategic, day-to-day coverage of a select group of high-profile institutional investors, drive cross-platform engagement, and represent CBRE at the highest levels of client interaction. This is a salaried role focused on long-term relationship development rather than transactional sales. This role includes people management responsibilities.

- Align senior leaders across service lines, geographies, and segments to deliver coordinated execution against board priorities.
- Leverage the board forum to anticipate emerging client needs, challenge legacy approaches, and surface non‑obvious opportunities for growth and innovation.
Client Intelligence
- Own client intelligence as a core commercial responsibility, requiring sustained focus to maintain a deep, current understanding of client priorities, leadership, and enterprise dynamics.
- Maintain and continuously refine client organizational and relationship mapping, aligning client structures with CBRE relationship coverage to ensure full visibility into all current and potential engagements.
- Apply client intelligence to drive commercial outcomes, informing strategic engagement, opportunity identification, resource prioritization, and long‑term account growth while enabling a proactive, differentiated client partnership.
Leadership
- Demonstrate proven people management capability, with readiness to assume formal supervisory responsibility including performance management, coaching, and development.
- Maintain a strong, visible in‑office leadership presence, working alongside teams, CBRE leadership, and Client Executives aligned to coverage to enable collaboration, mentorship, and effective decision‑making.
- Lead client coverage planning and execution, ensuring workloads, priorities, and delivery models are efficient, scalable, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic and commercial outcomes, driving market share growth, competitive differentiation, and resolution of complex, multi‑dimensional challenges, while modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE’s RISE values.
