CBRE’s market-leading European Research team is hiring for a residential researcher. Are you looking for an international research position and do you have affinity with the residential real estate market? Then this could be your next role! 
About the role 
Residential real estate is a rapidly growing asset class that is becoming increasingly attractive to investors. You will work directly with the Head of European Residential Research to develop a clear and insightful knowledge base about this sector from a European perspective. You are also responsible for effectively communicating these insights, ensuring that CBRE’s message is clear and presented concisely within the firm, as well as to clients and the wider European property market. The position will require regular contact with colleagues across CBRE worldwide. The person in this role will also be expected to be able to use property data intelligently from both internal and external sources to help the firm with pitches, enquiries, presentations and project work. 
Key Responsibilities 
Help develop an approach to enhance CBRE’s key indicators about the residential market by working together with the local teams;
Assist in developing a European publication and analytics plan aimed to provide deeper sector insights and opportunities, including coordinating report realisation in cooperation with the local teams, marketing and the respective business lines;
Help develop thought leadership about the multifamily sector; 
Support with incoming business, client and press enquiries; 
Assist with regional and global projects, like consulting work and client presentations.
What do you have to offer us? 
You have a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, Social Sciences, Geography or a related discipline; 
You have 2-3 years’ experience in real estate research or in another research-based role (experience in residential research is a plus); 
You are proficient in data collection, manipulation, analysis and visualization, and enjoy converting data into valuable insights. Knowing your way around public data sources is a plus;  
You have good numeracy and writing skills, and are able to present data, information, methodologies and results effectively both orally and in writing; 
You have very good IT skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint and Word, or similar packages; 
You are skilled in data visualization and analytics. Good knowledge of analytics and visualization software packages (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, R), as well as SQL clients and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DBeaver) is a plus; 
You have an excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus). 
Having knowledge of the European residential sector in terms of regulatory framework and market structure is a plus.

You will work in a hybrid team of colleagues located in-country and across Europe. Next to your Research colleagues, you will often work with colleagues from other lines of business, like Capital Markets and Valuations.
