Responsible for planning and implementing strategic and tactical activities for  global technology initiatives for the Capital Markets line of business.

Develops a deep understanding of portfolio of Capital Markets technology products/platform. Creates a long-term vision and strategy for enablement, directly tied into overall Capital Markets business strategy. Champions overall strategy to ensure alignment from all stakeholders. Considers internal resources of the organization as well as external factors such as business climate, competition and customer needs in alignment and implementation of strategy.

In partnership with Digital & Technology (D&T) team, effectively communicates business needs (deep understanding of business, articulates and translates business/broker needs); highly involved in Steering Committees and speaking with end-users.

In partnership with existing customer success team, improve metrics and strategy around training, change management, customer success. Evaluates the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk. Evaluates resistance in adopting the change at the user, process, and technology level.


Acts as a senior leader proxy; active advisory role; for Capital Markets technology initiatives. Communicates with staff, public, corporate management and ownership; keeps stakeholders apprised of marketing activities and results through periodic reports, financial statements, newsletters and ongoing correspondence.

Directly or indirectly manages enablement team, providing strong day-to-day leadership. Provides oversight for functions such as product evolution and strategy. Responsible for business input into product roadmaps and enhancement prioritization/decisions globally.

Provides insight into technology and innovation to the project being managed. Advises and implements best practices. Demonstrates familiarity with common industry solutions (e.g. ERP, CRM, SFA).  

Leads the periodic review of programs and their underlying technology products, which includes looking at key quarterly outcomes, performance metrics, and state of capital projects.  Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements in the product roadmap to align with Capital Markets and enterprise-wide goals.

Supports strategy as it relates to data superiority and delivering actionable insights/predictive analytics to stakeholders.

Conducts ongoing evaluation of best practices and standards; identifies improvement opportunities; works with other support and business teams to refine and implement best practices.

Leads and facilitates initiatives to support field operations such as: communication of best practices, policies and procedures; ensures shared knowledge to implement process improvements; facilitates process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution.

Reviews, analyzes and plans for expanded business units or service lines; coordinates with field staff on corporate initiatives, training and program implementation.

Manages relationship(s) with contracted vendors; conducts bidding process, negotiates prices and selects vendors for needed services; negotiates and interprets contracts and monitors fulfillment of contractual obligations.

Plans and develops programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to client requirements as it pertains to conference and client events.

Special projects as required.

Manages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Monitors appropriate staffing levels and reports on utilization and deployment of human resources. Leads and supports staff in areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising and rewarding performance and retention. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 8 years related experience.

Previous Supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of Capital Markets industry.


Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

In-depth understanding of key technology trends, and their impacts on commercial real estate. Prior experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud preferred.

Focus on project planning and execution within time and budget constraints. Adept at problem solving and decision making.

Prior experience in commercial real estate/capital markets required.

Prior experience with large scale technology initiatives preferred.

Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve complex results. Responsible for setting project, department and/or division deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to line of business and/or overall company.
