Purpose of the job

  • CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Regional Facilities & Engineering Manager to join the team located in London City for our client Deutsche Bank.
  • This position is responsible for the tactical and operational management of the client’s infrastructure and client facing environment in locations.  Predominantly focused on locations outside of London City, ensuring practical delivery of best in class operational standards, but acting in support of the whole UK & Ireland portfolio.  Resulting in an exceptional engineering service provision and customer journey throughout the UK&I account.
  • Operational management of CBRE’s specialist M&E Supply Chain and OEMs in order to deliver a best in class service with the ultimate objective of meeting the Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreement targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure effective operational and commercial performance of Dublin, Channel Islands and Birmingham sites whilst supporting the existing London portfolio.
  • Management of QHSE / Log Book processes for these locations and ensure ongoing audit process is facilitated.
  • Act as point of contact/escalation for local CBRE and vendor teams, as well as the main point of client contact for Dublin and Channel Islands sites.
  • Provide leadership, and ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
  • Manage a team and develop them in line with business and personal objectives.
  • Ensure that opportunities for the strategic development of the contract are exploited, to deliver increased turnover and profitability, ensure additional services and projects are added, and contracts are re-won on re-tender.
  • Ensuring business policies and processes are effectively communicated and implemented within the contract.

Person specification


  • Recognised apprenticeship, BTEC HNC/HND within Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of attainment

·       Recognised Health & Safety qualification. i.e. IOSH / NEBOSH


  • A strong and committed team player capable of prioritising and solving problems often under pressure, utilising innovative solutions. Must be well organised with good task management skills, who can communicate effectively (written & verbal) and be able to operate independently
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Well organised and good prioritisation and planning skills
