Here's a snapshot of your day;
  • You will form part of an established facilities team working closely with the Facilities Manager
  • Perform daily site inspections with a ‘find it first’ facilities mentality where you will look for opportunities to improve the workplace experience. Examples of this may be; identifying safety hazards, ensuring pantry consumables such as coffee and tea are readily available, cleaning standards have been maintained and the space is presentable for both visitors and employees etc.
  • Manage meeting rooms including testing of AV equipment, lighting, blinds, and any in-room amenities
  • Respond to incoming workplace requests received by the facilities helpdesk including initial inspection and troubleshooting, coordinating contractors and communicating updates to business users
  • Manage an annual calendar of planned maintenance including scheduling in vendor services, collecting and reviewing service reports and updating CMMS records
  • Escort vendors onsite 
  • Liaise with security and business units for access approval to secured workspaces
  • Liaise with base building and landlord representatives for facilities issues outside of our scope of works
  • Support monthly finance processes including raising of Purchase Orders, Receipting and Invoicing
  • Provide relief support for Mailroom and Reception teams as required

Skills and experience
  • Excellent Customer Service relationship skills.
  • Knowledge and application of Occupational Health & Safety Act, Essential Services regulations. 
  • Ability to manage several functions and projects simultaneously including ability to meet shifting priorities and report to multiple or joint interests.
  • Demonstrable confidence and maturity in communications including good written and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients, tenants, contractors and colleagues
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
