Sr. UX Designer will operate collaboratively and independently to help drive the execution of the Project Management vision. This position, reporting to Director, will be responsible for daily execution of the design for the new features, collaboration with the business stake holders, users, development and PM teams and other counterparts, user testing and delivery of the new use case storyboards, wireframes, and feature specifications. This person will foster the culture of the team that embodies a dedication to collaboration, service mentality, designing novel products, delivering quickly, meeting commitments, personal excellence, and accountability.

Here's a Closer Look:

·        Produce requirement specifications, personas, storyboards, flowcharts, design mockups and prototypes.

·        Present your designs to users and internal stakeholders.

·        Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and conduct field research, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing.

·        Iterate design concepts based on feedback from the users, the team, and stakeholders.

·        Develop our UI Kit and design language

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE  

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field. Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction or a related field is preferred. Typically has 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.


CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES  

None


COMMUNICATION SKILLS  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.


FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE  

Ability to comprehend basic commercial real-estate terms, but not required to perform an analysis independently.


REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.


OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES  

Wireframing, visual design, and prototyping. Generally strong critical thinking and analytic abilities. Experience working on complex web applications.

Programming abilities (e.g. HTML/CSS), and experience working for smaller startups (OPTIONAL)


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY  

Decisions made with an understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
