About the Role

Work with federal healthcare organizations to understand the mission, value proposition, strategic focus areas, operating models and customer requirements.

Assist with the oversight of the department responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships.

What You’ll Do

Provide objective and timely information, analyses, and estimates related to federal economic and budgetary decisions.

Build and maintain effective long-term client relationships and a high level of satisfaction. Formulate, negotiate, and implement contracts.

Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of large-scale programs and operations.

Analyze data, research potential problems, define problems, develop, and implement solutions.

Prepare and submit short and long-range strategic plans to reach nominated targets.

Direct new business efforts with current accounts. Source new business opportunities and engage the field accordingly.

Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client's management to understand needs.

Evaluate industry and business trends and review and identify performance across the strategic account. Review data for potential impact on new business and operations and respond with business changes. Achieve revenue targets by increasing spend per account.

Apply a robust knowledge of multiple subject areas, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.

Supervise all employees, training, development, recruiting and hiring. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Coordinate and lead the team's activities.

Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department target dates.

Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Hold discussions with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.

Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems using the appropriate resources within or outside the department.

Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience, including federal healthcare budget formulation. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Experience working at or with OMB and CBO.

Competent in developing or interpreting federal budget guidance, account requirements, credit regulations, OMB/budget scoring, credit-related legislation, and providing legislative support.

Savvy with scoring proposed/enacted legislation, performing credit scoring analyses, and transactional assessments.

Capacity to guide the exchange of vital information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.

Leadership skills to set, and achieve targets impacting multiple departments' results within a function.

Sophisticated inquisitive mentality.
