Reporting into the Account Director, this role is responsible for the contractual requirements and performance of the account. This role will drive client outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement, process improvement and a strong operational excellence focus.

This role will suit someone with a high level of operational and contract management skills, and experience in implementing strategic improvements to enhance business productivity. 

Here's a snapshot of your day;

  • Business Operations - Partner with the Account Director to develop and implement the strategic business plan aligned to the client account objectives
  • Manage and drive performance surrounding contractual KPI/SLA requirements and National Initiatives. Manage evaluation process and any remediation program of work
  • Provide robust operational reporting, dashboards and associated solutions to the client
  • Control project schedules and manage stakeholders to ensure that necessary deliverables are completed. Provide leadership to negotiate issues and provide solutions across the portfolio
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement at a portfolio level, generating and implementing strategies to improve service levels and business practices with a view to improving overall efficiency 
  • HR - Managing the HR requirements for the team; overseeing annual performance objective setting and review process, managing resignations, onboarding new staff and ongoing L&D management for the team 
  • Working closely and collaborating with the wider CBRE Property Management team and complementary business lines.
  • Monthly travel to Melbourne will be required and as needed, possibly more frequently.

Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful: 
  • Previous experience in an Operational Management role and proven skills in business and financial management across a diverse range of disciplines
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Operations, or project management ideal but not mandatory
  • A true passion for process and procedures and ability to streamline business operations
  • Confidence and maturity in communication with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and influence, initiating change and conflicts with a solution focused, client centric approach
  • Superior organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver results effectively
  • Experience and understanding of Property Management would be highly desirable.
