JOB SUMMARY

The Hotels Team is seeking a candidate for the role of Capital Markets Senior Investment Sales Analyst, a full‐time position in the Atlanta office. The analyst will be integrated within the sales brokerage team primarily responsible for financial analysis and underwriting and assist with day‐to‐day responsibilities, contribute to business development initiatives, and carry out tasks for both internal and external clients. The ideal candidate will be detail‐oriented, highly organized, able to work well in a fast‐paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrate clear communication skills, and be motivated to learn.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate financial models in Excel utilizing financial statements and market research.

Conducts a variety of moderate to complex analyses for the development of deliverables focused on commercial real estate strategies in support of CBRE's clients. Draws conclusion(s) from analyses and makes recommendations to senior leaders.

Knows and uses fundamental concepts, practices and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance, including commercial appraising, market analysis and investment analysis.

Generates, reviews, and understands reports; aggregates data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete analysis and/or recommendation.

Review, organized, and summarize due diligence material and other complex real estate agreements to assist with the preparation of financial materials.

Assist with preparing and presenting the results of analyses, including graphics and charts, in a clear and concise manner for property valuations and strategic considerations of current and potential client holdings.

Conduct research to understand an asset’s operational performance. Ability to work largely independently under mentorship of lead broker to formulate investment thesis for marketing materials by conducting research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence.

Coordinate with clients during pre‐marketing, marketing, and due diligence processes.

Establish strong working relationships with the team and clients to understand and identify market intelligence needs

Identifies opportunities for improvements by and among the clients and/or companies

Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree required, degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business-related field preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, Hotels, or Hospitality preferred

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Real Estate Sales License preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.), Salesforce, Tableau and other relevant business analytics skills are a plus. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations; ability to solve problems in complex situations. Ability to think creatively to resolve problems. Willingness to work hard in a transaction-oriented environment, high level of integrity and ethics.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
