Senior Finance Analyst
Manage Intercompany (ICO) tasks including both project work and month end close. Assist the Group Reporting Director with corporate reporting objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead GWS EMEA ICO projects to improve month end close processes and reduce aged debt
- Shared month end close responsibilities to ensure entities are aligned on ICO balances and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Act as the centralised point of escalation for issues requiring action from the business
- Be a key representative on global intercompany forums, coordinating actions arising for GWS EMEA
- Collaborate with project teams from other segments within EMEA to improve standardisation in the region
- Provide regular status updates to the EMEA ICO Lead and present to key stakeholders (including exposure to Finance Directors and Senior Controllership)
- Assist with non ICO projects in the wider Close and Oversights Team when necessary
- Assist with corporate reporting objectives, reporting into a dotted-line manager.
Person Specification
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel & Word
- Project management experience is desirable
- Advantageous to have experience of working in a large corporate business
- Must be detailed, conscious and use initiative while problem solving
- Highly organised, and able to effectively undertake many tasks at the same time
- Able to make sound decisions when needed and take responsibility for outcomes
- Self starter who can independently run projects and articulate outcomes to all levels
