About the Role:

As a CBRE Meeting & Events Planner, you will act as the programming lead and concierge for tenants in the office and retail component. Host helps drive Tenant Engagement through the Activate app for participating client properties through Tenant lunch and learns, programming, and activations. You will help drive amenity usage and act as a Concierge to provide hands-on personalized service to tenants and ensure quality events, engagement, and support at all times.

The Event Planner is responsible for providing marketing and communications support, scheduling assistance, programming documentation updates, research, reporting and other duties as needed in support of workplace programs. The Host will partner with clients Property Management teams, Marketing, Leasing and on-site third-party vendors to provide the best-in class service to tenants and partners.



What You’ll Do:

  • Management of all amenity spaces 
  • Manage all aspects of the amenity spaces and TX/CX programming offerings at the buildings, from contract/booking to execution.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Enforce CBRE RISE hospitality standards (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) and resources that guide operational teams in how to deliver best-in-class service to reflect the clients brand.
  • Build and maintain a trusted client relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Develop vendor partnerships with the intention of cost saving efforts. Handle negotiations for contract services. Confirm that all vendors have current and adequate proof of insurance and contractual documentation.
  • Oversee programs run by third party vendors. This includes food delivery, organizing events, coordinating transportation, or mail distribution. Ensure all invoices for business services are billed.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Drive amenity usage and retail activation at all properties.
  • Responsible for programing and managing community events coordination, signage, vendor contract processing, and communication notices. Leverage best practices and industry experts to enhance the type and quality of events being delivered at the properties.
  • Research and identify Pop Ups program that drives community engagement, generates revenue, and supports the assets and tenants.
  • Update and manage the master calendar of property event programming – carefully balancing the mix of Owner- sponsored, community, pop-ups and tenant related events.
  • Provide Owner 12 month look ahead event calendar for planning purposes no less than twice per year.
  • Support the maintenance of the mobile building app, ensuring content strategies align with the vision of the clients brand, programming is communicated, and clients perks are available for tenant use and to support leasing tours.
  • Collect and organize feedback to provide data informing program performance indicators.
  • Deliver monthly Owner-approved report that includes an overview of time spent at each asset, property and tenant events, amenity space utilization, community event engagement, client branding efforts, leasing engagement, mobile app utilizations, Food and Beverage utilization, upcoming events, and other relevant data. Final reporting format subject to Owner approval and reviewed quarterly during business review meetings with Contractors.
  • Stock and manage supplies and goods within amenity spaces/conference rooms. Adhere to budget and review and approve all invoices related to such amenity purchases.
  • Role may require after-hours event oversite.
  • Role may require physical labor to setup/take down events and or conference room configuration in partnership with property staff.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Meeting & Events Planner position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Meeting & Events Planner position is $95,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.  Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
