Strategic HR Partner to the New Zealand business 
Auckland CBD location

Due to internal promotion, CBRE are seeking a passionate HR professional to join the New Zealand senior leadership team. As part of the wider Pacific People team, this standalone role will drive all strategic people-related initiatives for the New Zealand Advisory business. 

Here's a snapshot of your day;
  • Partner closely with the New Zealand Advisory business, providing support, advice and solutions on a wide range of people matters including: recruitment, performance management, employee relations, change management; remuneration and benefits, talent, learning and development and employee engagement
  • Partner closely with the Pacific People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent, Learning & Development and Payroll teams (based in Australia) to ensure consistency in advice, policies and strategies 
  • Build highly effective working relationships across the New Zealand Advisory business, supporting and guiding people managers, and key stakeholders
  • Develop strategies, policies and procedures to connect our people to our organisational goals
  • Drive Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Well-being and “Employee Experience” initiatives within the New Zealand business
  • Produce accurate reporting and analysis of ‘People’ data and metrics to help leaders make the best decisions

Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
  • Qualifications in Human Resource Management and significant HR generalist experience in a large professional services environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand employment law
  • An ability to understand the needs of the business and provide commercial HR solutions and business partnering services
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with an inherent ability to exercise and influence at a senior level
  • Strong financial acumen, and a commercially minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, often high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with high level innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills directed to positive outcomes of ‘People’ initiatives and projects
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and ideally experience using Peoplesoft
