Finance Manager 
This role sits within the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) division of CBRE, in the central finance team looking after the EMEA business. In recent years GWS has grown significantly through both acquisition and organic wins. 
This role provides expertise and capability to help GWS manage our Month-End Close effectively and meet our Corporate Close, financial reporting, SOX and compliance obligations.  

- Complete the monthly Cadency and issue resolution for MEC activities for the Controllership Teams across EMEA.
- Responsible for the transition of entities on Cadency whether these are new entities or part of system changes across GWS EMEA.
- Run the monthly daily calls with GWS EMEA to ensure that communication around EMEA controllership is fluid and open and we are working with all teams including D&T / BSO / business finance.
- Run the reports for the monthly close walk calls ensuring they are complete and accurate, and data provided by corporate teams is reflected correctly. Ensure actions are communicated effectively to the wider Controllership team. 
- Ensure that systems are closed on time for month end, and this is communicated to the business working closely with the BSO.
- Responsible for areas of Delegation of Authority (DOA) management. 
- Responsible for finalizing MEC timetables and ensuring these are effectively communicated.
- Communicate timetables and monthly deliverables to GWS EMEA finance teams including the wider Controllership Team, Business Finance and FP&A.
- Assist in the monthly system reconciliation SOX controls for UK and complete variance analysis between systems.
- Assist in the control of monthly Topside entries following clear guidance with regards to materiality and ensuring this is tracked, documented, and communicated to key stakeholders. 
- Identifying and assisting with journal errors from business finance and controllership teams. 
- Investigating intercompany (ICO) issues and helping teams resolve errors. 
- Support Corporate Reporting for GWS EMEA. 

Person Specification
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent fully qualified accountant
- Experience of management accounting
- Experience of working with MEC
- Excellent communication and experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders in different regions
- Reasonable excel skills and good with systems
- Experience of ICO would be beneficial
- Demonstrable aptitude for business process improvement (preferred)
- Experience of preparing reports for key stakeholders (preferred)
