CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our growing Retail Property Management business who will be responsible for the operations of a portfolio of Large Format properties.

About the Role – 
The role of Facilities Manager allows you to show your strong initiative skills and keen desire to drive improvements to assist with the visual, financial and environmental impacts on the Centres. 

Primary areas of focus include operational safety, capital project delivery and compliance. 
Works include procurements, capital works projects, tenancy delivery and stakeholder engagement. 

Here’s a snapshot of your day;
  • Manage the delivery of all Facilities Management services for the allocated sites, tenant liaison and contractor management
  • Maintain the operational management of these centres
  • Establish policies and procedures, WHS and risk management compliance programs
  • Manage tenant/client relationships and work closely with the on-site and head office teams
  • Ongoing maintenance management in addition to budgeting, forecasting, and planning
  • Manage onsite cleaning, security personnel and other onsite contractors.
  • One day per week, inspect and report on building conditions in various Victorian locations and report items accordingly  

Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful; 
  • Previous Facilities Management experience, ideally within a retail environment or transferable experience in a similar role within the property or retail industry
  • Proven problem solver with the capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously  
  • Advanced communication skills and a proactive and professional approach
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholder, client and tenants quickly
  • A driver’s licence and car are required.
