Position Summary

The Digital Communications Specialist will be responsible for administering and overseeing the CBRE website and intranet.

The Marketing and Communications team is fluid and there are numerous opportunities to work on a wider range of projects suited to the candidate’s preferences and skills. These include branding projects, videos, events, and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Website administrator:

  • Serve as primary content manager for CBRE’s website - update content, design and develop new pages, troubleshooting
  • Provide advice on how best to showcase content on website (design, UX/UI)
  • Review analytics and propose website improvements
  • Work closely with APAC Digital team
  • Coordinate with Japan Design team to create visuals for website

Intranet administrator:

  • Work closely with Digital & Technology team and Internal Communications Manager to provide a user-friendly, up-to-date, and engaging intranet
  • Lead an internal community of content owners and page editors, including providing training and support
  • Support platform migration projects


  • Serve as primary content manager for CBRE’s Twitter account
  • Participate as a valued member of the Marketing & Communications team – including attending team meetings and providing support with marketing/branding and events

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS; Experience with SiteCore preferable
  • Fluent spoken and written Japanese; minimum business-level English
  • Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint (2013 to 365) administrator
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technology
  • Ability to manage expectations and work well with different teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • A team player; excellent collaboration skills
  • Friendly, approachable character and willingness to teach others, as well as learn

Education and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 relevant years’ experience; experience in working in a large corporate environment preferred
