Here’s a snapshot of your day:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be expected to have a “hands-on” approach to truly partner with and understand the business, their key drivers and be part of improving efficiencies and providing solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
  • To provide financial insight to key business stakeholders including; budgeting, forecasting and actual spend. 
  • To aid in the preparation and review of the month end management accounts with initial commentary and analysis. 
  • To business partner with heads of contract to carry out the initial monthly forecast, and to challenge and highlight risks/opportunities.
  • To provide financial insights for client stakeholders, including preparation of Budget v Actual analysis and support Contract Managers with monthly operational calls. 
  • Responsible for the preparation of Business Review Packs with supporting analysis and commentary.
  • Support the production of Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis. i.e. Balance Sheet Reviews, General Ledger Reconciliation.
Skills and experience:
  • Experience working within Facilities Management would be advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority.
  • Part Qualified/Qualified with either CA/CPA. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail and pro-active.
  • Strong advanced Excel Skills.
