About the Role:

 

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

 

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise building technicians and maintenance staff
  • Implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure 24/7 operational readiness to support BPO production floors
  • Manage, operate, and troubleshoot BPO-critical facilities equipment (Air Conditioning, Air Handling, UPS systems, Generators, ATS, switchgears, electrical panels, FDAS, sprinklers, FM200, water pumps, STP/grease traps, plumbing infrastructure, elevators, AHUs, chillers, cooling towers)
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root-cause analysis, and apply sustainable corrective actions
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
  • Manage vendor relationships, service level agreements, and technical project supervision
  • Maintain records of equipment logs, maintenance reports, and asset documentation
  • Support energy-efficiency initiatives and cost-effective building operations
  • Respond to facility emergencies and provide on-call coverage as needed

 

 

About you:

  • Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years of experience in Facilities or Building systems.
  • Significant experience in facilities or building engineering within BPO or commercial environments
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and critical BPO infrastructure
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
  • Knowledge of safety standards, local codes, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and vendor management skills
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays
  • Can start ASAP
