Role Purpose

CBRE’s Global Data Privacy Office (GDPO) is seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join our team.  As part of Ethics & Compliance, the GDPO is accountable and responsible for designing and maintaining CBRE’s global data privacy compliance strategy and framework.  Our data privacy lawyers regularly advise on legal and regulatory privacy compliance, create privacy-compliant policies, processes, guidelines and training, and work with business stakeholders to build a privacy culture and ensure the global privacy program is put into practice. We are looking to hire a full-time Project Coordinator. The position reports to CBRE’s Global Program Manager – Data Protection & Privacy.

Primary Responsibilities
  • As the Project Coordinator, you will:
  • Administratively support the GDPO’s annual strategic planning process
  • Provide project coordinator support for key program milestones
  • Document and track milestone progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Proactively identify opportunities for collaboration and efficiencies across workstreams and regions
  • Develop and implement workflows to maintain and mature the program 
  • Use Excel and other tools to assist with the development, organization, and tracking of program tasks
  • Coordinate team updates to key files for program compliance and accountability
  • Be assigned other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications and Competencies
 
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • 2-4 years of project coordination experience; experience within a multinational corporate environment preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong interpersonal skills
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, time management, and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Respect and integrity in working with others 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with a high degree of autonomy
  • Commitment to learning, excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Amenable to work on a graveyard shift
