Job Summary:

A Global Financial Analyst supports a specific Business and is responsible for strategic and financial analysis, maintenance and delivery of ad hoc reporting and analysis, required recurring reporting, or other data maintenance as required by the Business. The Global Financial Analyst works closely with the Relationship Leader, Strategist, or directly with the Business Unit Leader to establish the requirements, timing, and deliverable output or action associated with the financial or operational data.


JOB KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AS DIRECTED BY BUSINESS


Global Financial Analyst’s key responsibilities listed here are to be selected and mutually agreed upon with the GE Business. The responsibilities here are non-exhaustive and can be expanded upon by the business as mutually agreed:

·        CBA (Cost Benefit Analyses) preparation & presentation for both simple and in-flight complex projects (large sites, complex projects, capex requirements, or other more complicated/involved analyses)

·        Financial deep dive investigations (including provision, development, or support to additional client -facing financial presentations)

·        Rooftop Dashboard Leadership summary creation, maintenance, and enhancement

·        Deliver expedited or accelerated reporting

·        Develop or provide transactional -level global reporting or analysis

·        Develop or provide benchmarking data

·        Develop, enhance, or customize reporting specific to a Business's need outside or the standard available reporting

·        Act as data subject matter expert for any additional reporting requirements that require additional development resources

·        Provide initiative-level savings detail and summary reporting

·        Support long term capital planning and analysis above and beyond that delivered as part of the base level of service

·        Develop, enhance, or provide additional data cleaning activities on a one -off or recurring basis

·        Support ITA (Internal Tenancy Agreement) maintenance and analysis

Requirements:

·        Economics / Finance & Accountancy / Econometrics background

·        Strong analytical and financial skills, a keen sense of numbers and financial concepts

·        Previous commercial real estate experience (candidates with recognised real estate qualifications will have a distinct advantage) within a global corporation environment

·        High level awareness of property finance

·        Experience with financial modelling in Excel (strongly preferred). Ability to undertake P&L and cash flow comparisons

·        Proficient with Excel, strong IT skills (Microsoft Office), experienced with using data visualization

·        Strong interpersonal skills, ability to form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority

·        Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills in order to meet client deadlines

·        Ability to provide value add to the client by understanding their needs and identifying solutions which provide additional revenue

·        Ability to manage specific client relationships, handle contractual and other sensitive issues with the client or third parties

·        Understanding of general commercial office leasing concepts and contractual frameworks

·        Ability to contribute to negotiations and develop plans to drive implementation of client strategy

·        Proven client facing experience

·        Flexible approach to work, ambitious and self – motivated

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

·        Excellent English essential (at least 90% of your time you will be communicating in English)

·        Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a problem-solving attitude
