CBRE National Senior Housing, comprised of Debt & Structured Finance, Investment Sales, and Investment ‎Banking, is one of the largest senior housing capital markets group in the nation. CBRE National Senior Housing has historically maintained the leading Capital Markets position in both Investment Sales and Debt Originations. From 2014 through 2020, CBRE completed $15.4 billion in combined senior housing investment sales and loan originations. In 2019 and 2020, the team completed over $3.1 billion of combined senior housing transactions. The Co-Heads have completed a combined $20+ billion in senior housing Debt Originations and Investment Sales transactions throughout the course of their careers and possess a combined 65 years of senior housing-specific industry experience. CBRE National Senior Housing has been a Top 3 senior housing originator from 2010 through 2020. through 2020, CBRE completed $15.4 billion in combined senior housing investment sales and loan originations.

 

About the Role

  • The Transaction Manager will report to the Co-Head of CBRE National Senior Housing responsible for senior housing investment sales nationally working in either the Austin or Houston office.
  • Key member of an integrated, leading National Seniors Housing Capital Markets team that provides Investment Sales, Debt and Structured Finance and Investment Banking advisory solutions to Institutional Investors, Developers and Operators.
  • Primarily responsible for all Investment Sales transactions and marketing execution for single and portfolio asset sales / dispositions and equity capital market advisory solutions.
  • Oversee and direct the preparation of financial analysis including detailed pro-forma financial models, sale/transaction comps, replacement cost analysis, debt options, market, and competitor analysis.
  • Responsible for the preparation of valuation analysis and marketing materials for Broker Opinion of Value (BOV's) and Offering Memorandums (OM's).
  • Stay abreast of Senior Living industry trends and pertinent content for dissemination to clients.
  • Interface with the team’s clients and the broader CBRE platform to help leverage the platform and offer best in class solutions.
  • Work closely with senior members of the National Seniors Housing Capital Markets team to meet group goals and objectives.
  • Travel required for periodic client meetings, pitches, property tours, and to attend several industry specific national conferences.

 

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, economics, finance or related field.
  • Candidates will be required to obtain a Texas Real Estate Salesperson license within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum 4 years of relatable industry experience, preferred Senior Housing, Investment Sales, Investment banking, or Private Equity experience preferred
  • The candidate should possess excellent computer skills, strong analytical and communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, and specifically in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates should also possess general accounting knowledge with specific experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and cash flow models.
