JOB SUMMARY

The Sr Marketing Specialist will act as the single point of contact within marketing for our sales professionals, supporting their business development needs. Primary role is to develop and edit proposal and presentation content in addition to other marketing and pitch materials for new business development pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a communications/PR background, interested in moving into a business development role, utilizing their writing, relationship building and strategic planning skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as single point of contact for pursuits, collaborating with sales professionals to develop strategies and value propositions for proposals and presentations; resources team members and ensures service delivery.
  • Manages entire proposal and presentation process from inception to completion; develops and edits content.
  • Researches and resolves complex issues pertaining to RFP responses.
  • May write and edit other non-press pieces: website content; invitations; educational and industry presentations; collateral.
  • Advise and develop broker value propositions and create broker team marketing/new business materials
  • Serves as brand manager, ensuring brand and logo integrity in all created materials.
  • Interfaces with executive leadership and sales professionals.
  • May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
  • May provide cost estimates by researching costs and negotiating with vendors.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience; experience in commercial real estate preferred.
  • Excellent writing skills; writing samples must be provided.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Positive, energetic, collaborative ‘can do’ attitude. Adept at building internal relationships and serving several audiences, both onsite and remote. Enjoys working with different personalities and can adapt to/accommodate others’ work styles while achieving goals and objectives of projects and deliverables.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of Creative Suite a plus.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
