JOB SUMMARY

CBRE is seeking a Sr Executive Compensation Analyst who is an analytical, numbers-based powerhouse who is detail oriented and can run models easily to join our Executive Compensation team. This team is responsible for managing the design, structure, and administration of the executive compensation programs for the senior-most executives, as well managing the company's long-term incentives and deferred compensation programs.

Reporting to the Executive Compensation Director, the Sr Exec Comp Analyst is responsible for supporting the development, planning, implementation and delivery of executive compensation, equity administration and executive benefits programs across the Company.

In this role, you will use your expertise in financial modeling to lead executive reward analytics for the team and will assist with a variety of projects, which may include benchmarking for executive compensation levels, administering short and long-term incentive plans and ensuring compliance, and other projects beyond this scope.



RESPONSIBILITIES  


Responsible for supporting the design, development, planning, implementation, and delivery of executive compensation programs across the Company in support of business objectives.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Plans, executes, and leads executive compensation projects requiring analysis of factors that impact multiple global organizational units.

Recommends and participates in assigned salary surveys in order to understand competitive compensation levels for executives.

Assists in preparation of Compensation Committee meeting materials.

Assists with annual executive compensation planning, executive communications, supplemental LTD, and Deferred Compensation initiatives.

Acts as liaison with internal business partners (Equity Administration, Legal, Corporate Tax, Accounting, HR, Compensation) and outside partners.

Prepares executive compensation tables and related proxy materials.

Assures through audits, analysis and reports, that executive compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Human Resources, or related discipline from 4-year college or university and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in compensation strategies and programs (both broad based and executive compensation).

At least 2 to 5 years of related work experience, specializing in C-Level is required (e.g. emphasis on compensation and rewards programs supporting executive compensation and equity-based awards programs).

At least 2 to 5 years' relevant work experience doing quantitative work (data analysis, financial modeling).

Prior knowledge of executive compensation principles and concepts, compensation analysis including market pricing, and compensation plan and structure design is required.

Prior experience with equity plan/stock plan administration - minimum of 2 years of experience.

Experience in Compensation, Risk, Compliance, or other regulatory related projects/environments preferred.

Solid knowledge of accounting, tax and legal implications related to the management of executive compensation and stock plans.

Strong understanding of Short- & Long-Term Incentive Plan concepts and designs.

Experience navigating a large company with a complex and heavily matrixed organization structure is highly desired.

Must be organized, conscientious, and pay strong attention to detail.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to communicate on a variety of levels (technically and non-technically) with people at all levels in the organization. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.

Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations and effectively tell a story in building presentation materials.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to forecast and calculate complex figures.  Conducts advanced financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret documents, solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced level analytical and quantitative skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Excellent financial modeling, analytical and technical skills including expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Oracle PeopleSoft HRIS.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong planning, problem-solving and project management skills.

Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities and deliver high quality results with accuracy, speed, and agility.

A pro-active, forward thinking approach to work; the ability to see the big picture, while managing details.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
