Position Overview

We are seeking experienced workplace/occupancy strategists to join our growing Workplace Strategy, Design, and Occupancy Management practice. This role will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of workplace, change management, & occupancy consulting engagements as a part of a national practice. The activities include but are not limited to: 

 

  • Support fulfilling clients’ needs by defining, analyzing, and leading components of research activities
  • Conduct and synthesize research from internal and external sources
  • Regularly track time utilization to ensure high billable hours towards project work
  • Contribute to clear and thoughtful recommendations and client deliverables
  • Participate in internal initiatives focused on thought leadership, including white papers, surveys, and other data dashboards
  • Becoming a subject matter expert in Workplace analyses (e.g. utilization analysis, space analysis, Power BI or Tableau, etc.)
  • Speaks knowledgably to the client on key trends in client's industry, key workplace trends, and POV of the CBRE team
  • Support the development of client communications and change management plans
  • Can readily speak to the data collected and processes used, answering client and broker questions
  • Actively partners with others and seeks out those with complementary skills to their own for advice or to work on initiatives
  • Travel to client sites across the U.S. (up to 40% at peak periods)

 

 

Candidate Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of credible, related work experience in the field of real estate, design occupancy strategy, change management or consulting
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Outstanding listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite of Products
  • Experience working with other software preferred (e.g., Tableau, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD/Revit)
  • Strong client-service oriented work ethic
  • Passion for strategic and creative problem solving 
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams
