CBRE is seeking a security professional to join our Singapore team as a Regional Operations Center Security Manager for Singapore and other assigned countries within the region. The team is focused on achieving the highest level of safety and security for our client’s assets. 

This person will be responsible to manage and direct security operations and deputize for the APAC Security Director as required. The role will include matrix management of the account in Country Security Leads throughout the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Roles and Responsibilities
The role will take a leadership position to ensure a coordinated delivery approach across Security Operations
  • Support the account, and the account leadership, in achieving compliance, commercial and quality objectives around security operations, including manned guarding and control room operations. 
  • Implement and execute security services delivery in assigned countries, including related operational duties and instructions in accordance with the Client’s policies, standards, and procedures, to allow for the business operations, systems and processes to proceed with minimal disruption.
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships and rapport with key internal stakeholders and external partners. 
  • Ensure timely response to incidents to minimize business disruption.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in security operations and solutions.
  • Plan, budget, procure, implement, and manage physical security operations.
  • Manage key supplier relationships across the APAC region.
  • Develop operating procedures and key documentation.
  • Regular operational and Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance review meetings with Country Security Leads and Security Vendors.
  • Develop, manage and issue regular program status reports.
  • Liaison with internal or external auditors for security and compliance audits.
  • Degree (or higher) in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management or equivalent education or experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience managing corporate security operations. 
  • Banking / Finance Sector and APAC regional experience are highly preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals regarding physical security.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including attention to detail and the ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Experience in vendor contract management and budget negotiations, as well as possessing a well-established network within the security profession.
  • Ability to exercise strong leadership during incident response.
  • Experience and understanding of security systems, including access control and video surveillance technologies.
  • Ability to promote collaboration and cross-cultural cooperation.
  • Skilled in developing metrics and in conducting security related trend analysis.
  • Ability to develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as needs arise.
