Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Supplier Relationship Manager works in collaboration with service delivery lines on the client account and manages a supplier portfolio to improve productivity as well as client and service line satisfaction with supplier performance. The supplier relationship manager also ensures execution of program components such as monitoring KPIs, managing QBRs, acting as an SPOC for supplier escalations, monitoring quarterly performance audit activities, and ensuring key issues from the field are addressed in a timely manner; in addition to performing programmatic reviews as well as analyzing data and business outcomes to provide insights and recommendations on enhancing the program.


The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for the oversight of supplier performance. Key areas of focus will include:

  • Management of the Supplier QBR program
  • Review and enhancement of supplier performance survey questions for the operations staff
  • Ensure appropriate contract SLAs and metrics are in place and are being regularly monitored and enforced
  • Implement a formal supplier management process as well as implement supplier performance remediation plans put in place to address issues raised in the field
  • Identify areas of risk and non-compliance, implement sustainable solutions to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and where possible strengthen relationships to mitigate risk and increase performance.
  • Analyze cost and performance data, identify, recommend, and implement cost saving initiatives ensuring solutions meet strategic objectives.


This is a people manager role, and the successful candidate will lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values, in addition to;

  • Providing formal supervision to employees within the Supplier Relationship Management team
  • Recommending staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action, and termination
  • Planning and monitoring appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor including overtime
  • Preparing and delivering performance appraisals for staff
  • Mentoring and coaching team members to further develop competencies


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with scorecards, supplier performance surveys, databases, KPIs, trend analysis, reporting, dashboards and other visual analytics
  • Analytical and detail oriented, able to interrogate high volume and complex data, identify trends, see and realise opportunities
  • Advanced software skills (i.e. Tableau, SQL, Excel VBA, macros, pivot tables, formulas, etc.) are an asset
  • Facilities Management experience/working with service providers is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, highly personable
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and collaborate to improve their operational performance and compliance
  • Ability to work independently, drive results, and meet deadlines
  • CSCMP designation or enrollment in CSCMP program an asset
