JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

This position will provide key technical leadership and execution for the Sitecore product development team. This role is responsible to work in partnership with the Sitecore product manager and scrum master to ensure product features are understood, developed, and delivered.

The individual will serve as a Senior Software Developer, fostering the delivery of world-class product solutions to deliver the highest value to the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Principally develops new Sitecore modules, maintains, enhances existing modules of the highest complexity.
  • Create new websites with different locales
  • Performs and oversees the investigation and resolution of Sitecore components
  • Experienced working in Scrum model
  • Performs and oversees the evaluation and use of new versions of Sitecore and related tools and technologies.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with Sitecore 9.3
  • Experience implementing CM and CD configurations.
  • Experience implementing Sitecore search functionality using Solr, Azure and Coveo.
  • Experience Using Sitecore Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), SXA Scriban templates
  • Experience of custom field types, pipelines, events, commands and Workflows in Sitecore.
  • Experience in Sitecore API services.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Sitecore in a load balanced or cloud environment (Azure PaaS)
  • Experience in integration with third-party tools.
  • Work experience with Rest APIs
  • Knowledge on TDS

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical topics to a variety of technical or non-technical individuals.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to clients and internal customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with various technology roles including development, support, product management and systems administration.
  • Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and stay current on trends for software development and product business needs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics or computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Requires technical expertise in multiple disciplines/process with 10 or more years of relevant work experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS 

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE 

Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements budgetary policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
