Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager for Data Products will be a product leader tasked with developing and executing against CBRE’s Data Product Strategy that would leverage and enhance our Enterprise Data Platform and subsequent products for the Global markets. Specifically, the Senior Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing a Master Data Management Product and improving overall data quality by managing and consolidating data from disparate data sources into one common platform.

The Senior Product Manager must have a passion for identifying business value, solve business problems by developing digital and technology powered products that blend seamlessly with customer’s workflows and provide the right information at the right time. The individual must possess a strong knowledge of product management, engineering, data analytics, support processes, technical expertise, and project management experience.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction via ongoing maintenance, prioritization, and on time delivery of new features. This will require you to:

  • Understand and articulate the product strategy and direction
  • Independently interact with multiple customers to develop a product roadmap
  • Develop and prioritize a product backlog, including tradeoffs to ensure delivery
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality and on-time solutions are delivered
  • Participate in global platform discussions to see where our data can add value

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of 8+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in product management, program management or technology
  • Experience defining a product roadmap, vision, and strategy
  • Experience with backlog creation, management, and trade-off decisions
  • Technical competency – able to understand and participate in engineering decisions
  • Experience with end-to-end application delivery
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • 5+ years’ experience working in data management
  • Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and/or data analysis
  • Relevant experience of utilizing data to enhance platforms and product development cycles
  • Experience working with UX Designers
  • Ability to present highly technical products to customers, including senior management
  • Ability to cover gaps that may exist within the team to get the product shipped
  • Proficient in SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Master Data Management and tools like Informatica MDM, Reltio
  • Identify KPIs for Master Data Management program
  • Commercial Real Estate experience
  • Experience at a multi-national organization and working cross functionally
  • Ability to cover gaps that may exist within the team to get the product shipped

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 10+ years of relevant work experience, including previous experience leading a project.




Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to manage multiple products and multiple product managers. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees and client groups to take desired action.


Requires advanced and in depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Conducts advanced financial analysis. Translates high-level specifications for software components into program specifications. Estimates time against completing the program specifications.


Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations of significance to the operation.



Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to department and/or multiple products.
