Senior Finance Analyst



The Senior Finance Analyst will join Finance Team dedicated to the Client from life science sector. The successful candidate be responsible for reporting and accounting for EMEA region. Candidate will perform month end close activities, billing, budgeting, forecasting, as well as provide effective financial and commercial support and guidance to wider finance and operational teams and drive improvements and efficiencies in the financial and reporting processes. The Senior Finance Analyst will be working closely with the Account Finance Manager, BSO Teams and other Finance Teams located across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate Client and corporate accounts for multiple countries and entities in line with the company timetable and in alignment with commercial model including full P&L accounts by country, entity, client site & service with variance analysis and commentary against plan & the latest forecast
  • Participate in CBRE budget and forecast preparation
  • Coordinate monthly accruals preparation and comment on variances against client budget
  • Business Partnering with the local operations teams and account manager on all CBRE & Client finance activities
  • Ensure all contractually agreed cost and fees (payroll, management fees, expenses and other) are properly reflected in the CBRE P&L and billed to the billed as per contractual agreement
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with detailed commentary, supporting evidence and calculations
  • Ensuring vendor invoice processing is timely and PO management is maintained by operations
  • Ensure all contractually agreed cost and fees (payroll, management fees, expenses and other) are properly reflected in the Client P&L
  • Coordinate Client month end close
  • Support the account team with contract governance by demonstrating knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract
  • Prepare a detailed overview of aged debt, WIP, accruals and prepayments
  • Support audit processes
  • Support the account team by ensuring revenue and costs are recognized in line CBRE's accounting standards and our commercial agreement
  • Support any GWS transformation, ERP system setup, issue resolution and client initiatives
  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested by the contract team

Business Partnering
  • Hold regular monthly financial reviews with the operational site leads & weekly financial review meetings with the contract support team
  • Support the commercial and operational teams with identifying contractual changes requiring a CCR.
  • Provide support to the contract support team to drive the following outcomes:
  • Zero WIP over 15 days
  • Zero aged debt over 15 days
  • Zero aged PO accruals over 90 days
  • Zero supplier invoices blocked in the system over 90 days


  • University degree in finance and accounting (Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar)
  • Very good English both oral and written is a must
  • Finance and accounting experience required
  • Very good Excel data manipulation skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Ability to remain focused in changing environment, multitask, prioritize and work to key  deadlines

  • Some knowledge of Oracle/SAP/iScala/MS Dynamics would be an advantage
  • CIMA/ACCA in progress would be an advantage
