Job Summary

Responsible for the performance of all real estate financial functions, including but not limited to the preparation and coordination of operating and capital budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, variance reporting, project and fixed asset accounting.


  • Participate and lead, when necessary, preparation of real estate and facilities budgets and quarterly forecasts for operating and capital expenses for the Asia region. This responsibility requires coordination with multiple parties in various countries in Asia, such as, CBRE internal employees on the account, client employees and supplier employees.
  • Working with vendors, client and CBRE team members, prepare periodic reporting packages including variance reporting for actual operating and capital expenses compared to forecasts and budgets. Reporting will be at various levels of consolidation (e.g., building level, sub region level, region level. 
  • Train and provide guidelines to CBRE and vendor employees on finance processes and tools as necessary.
  • Facilitate the client’s month end close process by ensuring that CBRE and vendor invoices are submitted to the client timely and necessary accruals and journal entries are recorded.
  • Issue POs for projects as required
  • Answering AP enquires & work with AP team as needed
  • Ability to understand and appreciate various cultures and business environments throughout the World, as the Senior Financial Analyst will be working with stakeholders located in various countries within Asia.
  • Ensure that CBRE and client processes and policies are adhered to
  • Conducts other special financial and business studies as requested.
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. 
  • Graduate degree in finance/accounting is a plus
  • CPA/CFA is a plus
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents.
  • Ability to summarize complex concepts and present to clients
  • Ability to prepare business memos, emails and presentations within deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of P&L, Balance sheet, Asset capitalization.
  • Strong analytical skills a must.
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. 
  • Ability to solve problems in complex situations.
  • Strong skills with Excel essential
  • Experience with planning software packages such as Prophix, SAPPS
