Job Title: Resource Manager, Contracted Accounts A&T Occupier 
Location: London

Role Purpose:
Proactively and efficiently manage resource allocation; understanding current resource, business pipeline, people performance ensuring optimum talent and utilisation rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create resource plan; identifying workforce gaps for each industry sector across Contracted Accounts
  • Lead resource tracking and allocation across the team, ensuring information is up to date
  • Manage headcount requirements and maintain an accurate headcount forecast enabling effective management decisions to be made
  • Drive fee earning population to better manage their demand pipeline and supply resourcing
  • Day to day deployment of staff to clients/assignments balancing the needs of the business with the needs of the individual
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to support and counsel them in resource management matters
  • Proactively identify/monitor instances of underutilisation and/or resourcing conflicts working with key stakeholders to resolve in a timely manor 
  • Work with business solutions team to understand upcoming pipeline to ensure we have a robust talent pipeline
  • Schedule and run weekly status meetings with key stakeholders, presenting headcount/resourcing MI, and sharing monthly with the A&T Occupier HR Lead
  • Liaising with the A&T Occupier Recruitment Manager to ensure the organisation meets its business and customer satisfaction goals through effective resourcing and talent management
  • Develop, implement and ongoing management of the onboarding of new joiners
  • Work closely with Global Mobility and wider peers, to ensure we are bringing together high performing diverse talent
  • Propose new and creative approaches to resource planning
Person Specification/Requirements
  • Experience of resource planning in a professional services or consulting environment
  • Strong understanding of delivery the commercial and customer value through effective resource planning and capability development
  • Adept at using Resource Management tools
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Excel and Teams
  • Highly collaborative and proactive working style
  • Experience of influencing and impacting up to and including Senior Leadership level
  • Ability to work effectively, to tight deadlines in a pressured environment
  • Is able to think about people planning in the short and long-term bases
  • Solid financial control & acumen 
  • A strategic and pragmatic approach towards all resource management issues
  • Ability to anticipate risk and prevent where possible with effective solutioning 
  • Willingness to create new tools and processes
  • Comfortable working in periods of ambiguity
