We are looking for a Residential Facilities Coordinator to join a collaborative and high performing Facilities Management team. 

Based onsite at an A Grade Residential Building in the heart of Brisbane CBD, this role will see working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including the Building Management Committee, Property Owners, Body Corporations, Residents and Tenants, to ensure the premium asset is managed and maintained to an exceptional standard.

The Opportunity

  • Be responsible for the management of a large prestige residential building 
  • Assist and respond to resident issues in a professional timely manner 
  • Manage the facilities on a day-to-day basis including all contractors, technicians and other maintenance related visitors to ensure the smooth running of your building
  • Managing all aspects preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance, ensuring all essential services are compliant 
  • Tendering for and management of service subcontracts on behalf of the client
  • Reporting on weekly and monthly basis 
  • Conduct building audits and ensure 100% compliance with safety, risk assessment etc.
  • Attend scheduled committee meetings and Annual General Meetings
  • Management to Services Scope of the Building Management agreement

About you

  • Previous experience in High Rise Residential Building Management experience with a sound understanding of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 and other relevant legislative requirements.
  • A property related tertiary qualification and/or a keen interest in facilities management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building services
  • Demonstrated customer service experience, a strong work ethic and a positive approach.
  • Great communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
