The opportunity: 

  • Collect, review, evaluate, and analyse data, using internal databases, external data and macro-economic, financial and demographic information, ensuring insight and meaning is captured
  • Analytical research and analysis of commercial occupier markets in the Sydney retail, industrial and logistic sectors
  • Build, maintain, and enhance research databases and a range of activities that contribute to the team’s production and delivery of research material
  • Prepare regular research reports and presentations, and other market analysis, including more tailored research pieces to drive thought leadership
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data management processes and data-based outputs/data visualisation products
  • Build relationships with Pacific business partners, Pacific research team as well as provide support to the APAC global research platform
  • Collaborate with Directors, Head of Research, Sector Leads and business stakeholders to generate ideas and produce innovative research materials that best meet business and client needs. 

About you:

  • Degree in property, economics, finance, or related field with working experience in a property, economics, investment, or data analyst role
  • Ability to source data, analyse trends, create insights, and present results verbally, graphically and in writing in an engaging manner
  • Strong numerical skills and exemplary attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen interest in learning and using data analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and sales database systems (including Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy a high degree of integration and collaboration with stakeholders within our business.
