Reports to: Director – Property Management
Role Summary
We are looking for an ambitious Property Management Surveyor at Associate Director level to join our growing Property Management business and to manage a portfolio of Commercial Property assets for investor Clients. Our Clients include many of the leading domestic and global real estate investors currently active in the Irish market.
CBRE are at the forefront of current themes in Property Management such as ESG, the introduction and development of Technologies – and the building of Communities across our portfolio.
This is an exciting role and offers structured career progression and experience across a global business committed to Property Management. The successful candidate will work primarily on our fast growing Logistics portfolio in addition to assets from other commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for the management of a portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
• Management of all stake-holder needs – investor, occupier and buildings.
• Client liaison and reporting.
• Property inspections on a periodic basis.
• Overall responsibility for each element of the Property Management Mandate.
• Strong understanding of service charge budgets, expenditure and management.
• Co-ordination and management of Facilities Management personnel and tasks.
• Development of Property Management Strategies for each asset.
• Participation within the Team on strategy, objectives and innovation.
• Engagement and relationship building within the wider service lines to grow collaboration and business opportunities.
• A strong focus on ESG Sustainability as it relates to Commercial Buildings and working with the FM team to collate and manage data including uploading to the Deepki platform.
• Providing where necessary consultancy advice / due diligence on new acquisition properties and development consultancy on new developments.
Experience & Skills
• Relevant Property Degree and a member of the SCSI / RICS and holding a current PSRA license.
• 5+ year’s experience in residential or commercial property management.
• A proven track record in the property management sector and capable of managing assets and client relationships at a senior level.
• A good knowledge of the Irish Commercial Property Market and key stakeholders.
• Demonstrable appropriate operational and financial skills.
• Has excellent communication skills enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues.
• Highly skilled presenter who continually develops the ability to communicate with impact to persuade and influence.
• Be passionate about the real estate sector.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to grow their experience among the team.
• Enthusiastic and motivated self-starter.
• Recognize the strength and opportunity of teamwork and be a strong team player.
• Confident and assertive.
• Values collaborative team work and fosters trusting relationships.
