About the role

In this role you will be directly responsible for the performance of the assigned national equity portfolio. You are accountable for leading analysts in direct relation to the management of the portfolio and collaborating with our operating partners, internal team, borrowers, sponsors, clients, contractors, attorneys, title companies, architects, brokers, appraisers, and other deal-related parties.

What you’ll do

  • Provide direct support to the Director of Asset Management for Private Equity portfolio.
  • Ensures consistency in support provided by the team through continuous review and improvement of existing processes.
  • Serve as primary point of contact with joint venture partner post-closing and serve as an extension of the originations team in being an excellent partner with the local team to develop future business.
  • Complete performance reports to investors on a quarterly basis and present results directly to the client.
  • Serve as a coach to junior members of the team to train, develop and empower for peek performance.
  • Financial reporting and analysis to supervise property performance.
  • Loan compliance and hedging risk based on property’s performance
  • Site Visits/ Travel – 20%

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years industry experience or 7-to-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skilled at calculating financial figures and sophisticated financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong skills in Excel strong preferred.
  • Effective presenter with superb client service skills.
  • Knowledge of private equity multifamily asset management strongly preferred.
