WHAT WE DO
· Build cloud native applications utilizing Open source and Microsoft technologies across multiple cloud platforms.
· Modernize monolith legacy applications to highly scalable distributed applications on microservices based architecture and deploy them on cloud platforms.
· Execute projects on Agile best practices and embrace the Devops culture across the software delivery lifecycle
· Build and develop integration frameworks for 3rd party vendor applications.
· Design and implement new features/applications based on industry standards.
· Create modern, responsive web applications to provide real-estate services to our internal and external clients.
· Develop and distribute Mobile apps built on native or react native architecture for both iOS and Android platforms.
· Implement Continuous Security, Integration, Deployment & Monitoring for the software products
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be responsible for all the data functions for the team – Database Design / Modelling, Optimal solutions for database operations and operational aspects of databases across environments including production.
· Understand the business requirements and collaborate with API development leads for modelling the database on the relevant database technology.
· Be the sounding board for the developers to provide them with the best practices and optimal solutions for querying the databases.
· Develop standards for data access across SQL and NO-SQL technologies.
· Work with the SRE team DBAs to provide the needed db metrics and standard operating procedures for maintaining the databases for best performance across environments.
· Collaborate with dev and sre team for sizing the databases for environments appropriately.
· Lead the Database optimization activities during Performance Engineering activities to isolate database performance issues.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· 7-10 years of experience in Designing, Development and Maintenance of databases providing for a Scalable, Distributed applications.
· Extensive experience with RDBMS (Postgres / MySQL / Oracle / SQL Server) and No-SQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
· Proven abilities for leading the data track for the application teams to deliver high performance to end consumers.
· Ability to model the databases for optimum performance applying industry standard principles such as SOLID, DB Normalization etc…
· Hands-on with some of the niche modelling / querying techniques such as hierarchical data modelling / query, Aggregates, Common Table Expressions.
· Experience working with Databases on any of the public cloud such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCP etc…
· Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
· Experience working and leading Agile/Scrum development cycles.
· Ability to communicated ideas / architecture and get buy-in from the relevant stakeholders.
Bonus/Nice to have:
· Hands-on with Postgresql.
· Experience with MongoDB databases.
· Data Science experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or
computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in
multiple disciplines/processes. Typically has 5-7 years of relevant work experience. Consideration
given to equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively
present information.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems
involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
