Due to growth, CBRE are seeking an experienced and passionate HR professional to join the Pacific People Leadership team to drive the strategic people related initiatives for our national Residential Projects division.

Here's a snapshot of your day;
  • Develop strategies, policies, and procedures to connect our people with our organisation
  • Provide advice, support, and solutions on HR matters for our national Residential Projects division including employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement counselling
  • Build highly effective working relationships and support senior leaders including key stakeholders across the Residential Projects portfolio and broader People team
  • Partner with leaders to develop and lead initiatives to improve staff retention, strategic hires and high-volume recruitment, long term growth strategies and succession planning
  • Conduct investigations regarding discrimination and unfair employment practices
  • Produce accurate reporting and analysis of HR data and metrics to help leaders make the best decisions
  • Maintain strong links and open communication with the broader ‘people’ team to ensure consistency in policies and strategies. 

Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;
  • Qualifications in Human Resource Management and experience operating in a large, global or matrix environment 
  • Significant HR experience supporting commission-based staff within a fast-paced sales, construction, development, retail, or similar organisation
  • Demonstrated experience across project management, change management initiatives and system implementation
  • Substantial ER & IR experience with the ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues and complex complaints
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically with high level innovative, analytical and problem-solving skills directed to positive outcomes of ‘People’ initiatives and projects
  • An understanding of business needs and ability to provide commercial HR solutions and business partnering services
  • Strong financial acumen, and a commercially minded approach with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, often high-pressure environment.
