About the Role:

We are recruiting an experienced Generalist and Program Manager to join the GWS People Team. The role holder will lead and oversee the delivery of a number of People Initiatives across APAC, in alignment with the People Roadmap and Strategy. As a key member of the GWS People Leadership Team, the role holder will deliver cross-country Initiatives in a fast-changing, matrix environment. 

We are looking for experienced HR/People with minimum 10-15 years with relevant skills set.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading and project managing the implementation of a number of key people initiatives, regionally for Local.  
  • Oversee, project manage & collaborate with APAC People Team on multiple projects like  People Roadmap, Talent Engagement & Retentions initiatives.  
  • Lead on ensuring alignment of initiatives with global priorities, to deliver our People Strategy, collaborating with colleagues across the GWS and broader people and functional teams. 
  • Lead the Communication Plan for Projects during end-to-end projects cycle.

Key Initiatives: 

  • Work closely with the People Team on key initiatives per the directions from the Head of People, Enterprise APAC including the creation of project proposals, cost benefit analyses, research outcomes per market insights. 
  • To present information, proposals and updates to a range of stakeholders (including senior business leaders, global People Leadership colleagues and the wider People Team) to ensure there is effective two-way communication and engagement for specific projects and initiatives. 
  • To put in place enduring systems and processes to measure and track the success of projects and initiatives. 
  • To apply and champion change management principles to projects and initiatives to help drive and embed change within the business and People team. 
  • To ensure that projects and initiatives, once completed, are integrated into the ‘Business as Usual’ work of the People team or Centres of Excellence and that stated benefits are measured and realised 
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues in the People Team, the DE&I team and Communications team to ensure that People Roadmap priorities and goals are achieved, with overall programme management to coordinate synergies and interdependencies. 
  • Understand, monitor and track GWS APAC People budget. Liaise with internal People, Finance and Business leaders to ensure charging is reflecting of effort and all expenses are reconciled to appropriate cost centers . 
  • Oversee and manage the GWS APAC People charging models for People Experience and People Service Team, including the charging structures for SSC. Monitor, report and ensure charging aligns with agreed SLA’s and charging model  
  • Act as People Communication Lead for GWS APAC People team – manage People communications within APAC and work closely with global People communication team. Maintain and enhance internal communication and People branding within GWS APAC. This includes but not limited to: People Team announcement; maintain updated status of People team distribution list ongoing and update People team member changes on intranet; upload latest GWS APAC policies/guidelines onto GWS APAC People intranet.   
  • Organize and host Monthly GWS APAC People call with all GWS APAC People community, including but not limited to: travel, scheduling, taking minutes and follow up on agenda action items as necessary.  
  • Coordinates data and reports from a variety of sources for inclusion in reports and presentations, includes but not limited to monthly and quarterly Business Review; BOS report, Talent Health Scorecard etc.  
  • Project manage specific people initiatives within the GWS APAC DE&I Action Plan.

  • Generalist HRBP knowledge or project management in HR across the breadth of the function 


  • HR Project delivery experience, from conception through to implementation 
  • Change Management experience 
  • Experience of creating and delivering a clear vision for a people strategy 


  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build good working relationships with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Ability to tailor solutions to business needs 
  • Responds to challenges with resilience and creativity
