Purpose of the Job

To assist the EDC team with various duties listed out below, they must be based in the UK but will support all EMEA/APAC regions
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 7.00am until 16.00pm the candidate’s base site can either be Croydon DC or Heathrow DC, but from time to time, they will be expected to work at the alternate site. The travelling time/costs between sites will be undertaken by the candidate. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop records management processes and policies
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
  • Set up and maintain automated data processes
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing
  • Produce and track key performance indicators
  • Develop and support reporting processes
  • Monitor and audit data quality
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to fully understand data content
  • Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Design and carry out surveys and analyse survey data 
  • Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the employer's business
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
  • Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations provide sector and competitor benchmarking mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
  • To ensure quality / compliance of management system documentation is adhered to.
  • Liaise with the Technical author on a regular basis to discuss work provisions / requirements
  • Provide auditable evidence to the client that the duties within this document have been carried out correctly.
  • Complete regular checks that process / procedures are in the correct format & fit for purpose
  • Adhere to the rules and regulations as documented in the standards concerning Buildings and Communications rooms
  • Always liaise closely with the customer and promote a positive image of the company.
  • Ensure that the Technical Author is made aware of any issues that may affect the ability to deliver the service against the agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure that the Technical Author is made aware of any absence or lateness as per company procedure.
  • Make sure all health and safety requirements are met and that any concerns or incidents are escalated to the Technical Author, document any accidents that occur.
  • Ensure that the correct workwear is always worn.
  • Make sure that annual leave is requested within the correct timeframes and as per company procedure.
  • Make sure your time sheets are completed and signed by no later than 10am every Friday and are made available for the contract support team, any overtime must be submitted via the relevant form and made available at the same time.
  • Ensure that emails are checked on a regular basis and actioned where necessary and completed within timeframes

Accountabilities

  • Directly accountable to the CBRE Technical Author at either site for all HR/pay/sickness and training requirements. There will be a dotted line to the contract manager.
  • This post carries no direct budgetary responsibility, but financial awareness is required.
