Here’s a snapshot of your day:
  • Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & AC Equipment.   
  • Monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation. 
  • Assists in monitoring the work of lower skilled HVAC mechanics by providing instruction and training, serving as information resource and reviewing completed projects. 
  • Checks and changes air filters on regular basis. 
  • Assesses drain problems and performs any needed repairs. 
  • Installs humidifiers into system and connects water and drainpipes. 
  • Determines amount of airflow required to keep carbon dioxide at safe level, ensures this level is maintained. 
  • Making routine adjustments to maximise operational efficiency. 

Skills and experience:
  • Full trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is essential to the role.
  • Data Centre or critical environment experience would be advantageous
  • Relevant and valid OH&S cards
  • Strong awareness of safety requirements and demonstrated experience in ensuring safety comes first
