The incumbent will act as the primary liaison to ensure seamless interaction for managing the client's retail footprint and representing the Property in initiatives aimed at improving the overall client experience and retail design. At the same time, will lower the retail cost base and contributing to other ongoing initiatives with other teams within Property.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engagement with our client to ensure the function has a deep understanding of strategic business needs and through proactive engagement with Retail Banking, understand and translate Business outcomes into property deliverables.
  • Link Property Agenda to provide a seamless Client Experience to Retail Banking.
  • Manage and lead monthly and ad-hoc performance of market reviews
  • Support Retail Transformation agenda and act as liaison from Property to support these initiatives through professional insights and execution at Group and Regions.
  • Support Asia client's Property Manager and Asia Head of Property for senior stakeholder management particularly business within the region; developing strong partnerships, proactive discovery of upcoming projects while creating value by influencing stakeholders to make decisions when considering the wider business.
  • Support and work closely with the the business to evolve the retail guideline and support new design is delivery consistently globally, providing retail design assurance, steerage and design direction and continue improvement, as Best in Class, in the evolution of all our Retail branch portfolio.  
  • Present and effectively communicate how a creative vision will help achieve goals to provide tactical and strategic direction
Business Alignment 
  • Co-develop, define and manage new initiatives with different business segments and functions, driving client centricity through the Property ecosystem.
  • Support the development and delivery of business alignment tactics, influencing key geographic and business stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions are implemented.
  • Support and develop a deep understanding and awareness related to the Bank’s strategy and be able to relate Property strategy and scorecard to the overall Bank’s strategies.
  • Ensure consistency and share of best practices across Regions and Group reporting and insight.
  • Support and deliver property strategies and strategic initiatives on business alignment matters.
  • Evaluate and motivate design team toward continued growth and leading design solutions. Key focus on cost effective, drive efficiency and adding value to the bank. 
  • Contribute strategically to design to align business goal professional and specialist retail design for Retail projects. 
  • Governance and control retail design guideline, prepares design presentations and documentation.
  • Accountable for Property scorecard and KPIs

To be successful in this role, the incumbent should possess: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Real Estate (Masters a plus), preferably a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate other Business-related discipline and built environment (e.g. architecture, engineering, interiors, building science etc.) or equivalent.
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in either working for a Financial Retail oriented organisation or manage property deliverables for Retail businesses
  • A good understanding of financial retail strategy
  • Global or regional exposure and experience in retail branch project delivery 
  • Knowledge of the facilities/real estate market as well as a keen understanding of customer service principles
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness in seeking out market opportunities and leveraging supplier base to maximum advantage
  • Qualifications around Analytics and Financials would also be an added advantage
  • Strong Communication, Influencing and Negotiation skills
  • Exposure to working with multi-cultural/geographic teams.
  • Data- oriented personality with a client centric mindset.
  • Superior active listening, written and verbal communications in English (a second language a bonus)

  • Resilient and able to remain calm and work effectively under pressure
