Our team conceptualise, lead on design, develop and construct processes to support the Finance organisation within the company.  

We use innovative approach to document new processes and to problem solve through existing process challenges, we work with internal stakeholders to assess and identify areas of improvement for processes, and/or to engineer processes from the ground-up and we are responsible for sub-processes within an overarching set of financial and technical processes. 

Up to 25% Travel


Key Responsibilities:

·       Determines the process sequences and interactions of existing processes by working with internal stakeholders/process users to gather requirements to understand the current state

·       Maps out current processes, documents procedures/protocols, process flows, approver levels, decision points, and all relevant information

·       Identifies bottle-necks, pain points, and areas of improvement

·       Evaluates and proposes process improvements (Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, Centralization near/offshore) and/or engineers new processes from the ground up

·       Lead and conduct discussions with primary stakeholders/leaders to document and memorialize context and decisions

·       Resolves any process problems and prevents their recurrences

·       Meets process output requirements of internal customers

·       Identifies and deliver training documentation needs


Education and Experience:

·       Experience in finance processes.

·       Experience with project scope development, programming, conceptual design, and financial regulatory compliance a plus

·       Business Optix experience or similar process/mapping documentation tool exposure will be a plus

·       An excellent understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to Accounting, especially in relation to OTC areas of invoicing, contracts management, order management and revenue recognition

·       A strong understanding of financial systems and processes

·       Excellent management skills to handle multiple projects and prioritize

·       Capacity to influence others to get tasks completed

·       Capacity to be a listener and interpersonal skills to be a team player collaborating in driving decisions

·       Effective presenter and communicator of information to both financial and nonfinancial audiences

·       Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and internal clients 

Reasoning ability:

·       Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles

·       Ability to independently research complex accounting transactions/issues

·       Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team

·       Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills

·       Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company
