Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day financial operations for both client-managed spend and internal CBRE spend
  • Purchase to Pay (P2P) process and account AP management for CBRE and the client
  • Raise purchase requisitions for facilities management team
  • Ensure timely processing of invoice payments
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to clients and/or vendor
  • Client billing and account AR management
  • Business Partnering: work with account finance and facilities management team to meet annual financial objectives
  • Perform general accounting and period end close activities for CBRE and the client
  • Prepare month-end recharge allocation and/or accrual journals for client
  • Review accruals and booking of actuals pertaining to prior periods and reverse as need
  • Prepare fixed assets capitalisation form for minor works
  • Special Projects
  • Prepare and present ad-hoc reports as requested by client relating to above responsibilities (i.e. spend trend analysis, working capital management, etc)
  • Work with client and regional support team in implementing initiatives to change the way of working 

Skills Required

  • Experience in Finance/Accounting; Accounting qualification preferred (but not required)
  • Sound technical expertise in internal management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and month end accounting
  • Excellent Excel data manipulation skills – Excel 2007 (Lookups, pivot tables, If/Sum If statements - as a minimum)
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Be able to impact and influence colleagues and client
