Global Workplace Solutions, also known as GWS focus on providing high levels of real estate investment success. CBRE’s GWS team develops individualised facilities management success plans for each of our clients. 

The Facilities Manager is responsible for all FM deliverables within NSW, QLD, SA and ACT is also the acting Hub Lead until further notice. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to your client portfolio and leading a team of 5.  

Here’s a snapshot of your day:
  • Primary point of contact for reactive maintenance across the dedicated sites. 
  • Direct liaison with Client senior management, personnel and external service providers as necessary to fulfil the role and to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner;
  • Plan and manage the service delivery team encompassing staffing, training, and support personnel for whole account;
  • Drive the account to meet all financial and performance targets agreed
  • Responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance plan including by 3rd party contractors to ensure compliance; 
  • Co-ordinate and participate in client meetings and briefing sessions relating to space planning and premises management;
  • Ensure implementation of comprehensive and effective work safety and risk mitigation procedures
Here are some of skills and experience you'll need to thrive in this role;
  • Experience in a property based facilities and/or operations role
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles and able to conduct operational financial analysis;
  • People management experience with a proven track record of developing and mentoring team members;
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
