The Role
- Partnering with internal & external Client to deliver value using data, business intelligence tools and governance processes.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the managing of business analytic processes and strategies such as: data integration, operational reporting, ad-hoc & analysis, dashboards, and data mining exercises. Works with business leaders to create policies and execute corporate initiatives regarding organization, technology, and strategic efforts.
- Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee
- Resource Management: plan workloads and rotas; allocate tasks to team members; brief teams on targets, initiatives, and policy changes; monitor and report on team performance
- Talent Management: carry out individual appraisal; evaluates and mentors staff; training or ensuring that workers are properly trained for their specific roles
- Facilitate regular catch-up meetings with team members; Offering and receiving feedback, both constructive and positive
- Responsible for business continuity within the team: managing back up plans, holiday plans; coordinating job rotation and cross-training
- Assisting in resolving emergencies, such as a quality or customer problem that might be escalated to the team supervisor for handling
- .
- Meets with various business groups to understand their requirements. Business metrics may include internal & external Client rankings, aggregate portfolio additions and run off, operational effectiveness measures and/or cash management measures.
- Understands the conceptual, logical and physical data models necessary to support the analytic data requirements.
- Propose initiatives for improvements, advanced analytics, data visualization and analytics
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Fluent English in speaking and writing is a must
- At least 2 years of people management experience
- Advanced project management experience
- Experience in working with data warehouses, data marts as data sources
- Focused on getting things done
- Attention to details with a strong focus on accuracy, data validation and data integrity
- Organized, able to work independently and effectively manage workload
- Highly self-motivated and showing initiative, flexible and collaborative
- Responsible and mature attitude (responsibility for the managed reporting projects)
- A creative thinker and a problem-solver
DESIRABLE
- · Experience in working with Tableau and Alteryx would be an advantage
- · Coach experience would be an advantage
