This position is part of a global project team being established to commence a large-scale application configuration and implementation project at CBRE Global Investors.  The focus of this role is to partner with impacted business teams during the discovery and build phases and, with the knowledge acquired, support the launch and BAU handover.  Also, to represent the end users of the application and ensure their interests are considered by the project team.  Along with typical BA activities there will be a focus on copying and documenting end user activities to validate process redesign and configuration & build requirements, as well as contribution to business policy & procedure documents.  In addition, the BA will be required to propose new processes and quality assurance to support the new centralised way of working. To be successful in this role the candidate will need to quickly build relationships with business SMEs and end users (spread across multiple locations and functions) and acquire thorough understanding of the overall service offering, business model, business processes, roles & responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

•Conducting interviews, workshops, walkthroughs with business users to understand business processes and requirements and undertaking independent investigations based on sample data/scenarios
•Complex problem solving and analysis of scenarios/data where there are multiple variables and potential solutions
•Modelling ‘As Is’ business processes, interpreting these and developing ‘To Be’ state and generally assisting the business in process optimisation 
•Collating and assessing information gathered to comprehensively document requirements and identify critical items, arbitrate conflicts and distinguish user requests from true requirements
•Defining functional specs, checking understanding, validating solution proposals, performing functional testing and providing feedback
•Creating test scripts, planning and executing UAT exercises and collating feedback 
•Analysing & documenting the desired data model and collaborating with Data Governance group to incorporate sound data management practices 
•Acting as a SME for the application and its stakeholders in related projects or integration initiatives
•Support the application governance framework, data integrity policies and assist with audit queries
•Developing customised queries, reports and dashboards for project analytics and business user needs
•Contributing to the development, materials and execution of the user training programs, conducting structured and ad hoc training as required
•Communicating with various project stakeholders, including preparation of reports/ presentation and contributing to User Guides and release notes 
•Responding to business inquiries involving application and related process questions

Person Specification

•Qualification or relevant professional experience in Business, Finance, Real Estate or IT
•Experience within a financial services organisation (B2B, highly regulated environment), or commercial property
•Experience working in fund raising, investor relations, investor reporting (or on projects with these teams) highly advantageous
•BA qualification or professional qualification in Agile project methods, process modelling & optimisation (eg. Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) desirable
•Ideally with experience of cloud-based application implementation, as well as BI tools & advanced data queries & analysis
•Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and presenting to groups
•Strong analytical skills and well-developed judgement
•Pragmatic and solution-oriented attitude
•Excellent stakeholder management skills
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) in English
