About the Role:

 

As a CBRE Property Management Associate, you will lead the coordination of strategic operational and financial activities for a premier South Florida asset. You will serve as the "Operational Engine," ensuring that financial reporting, contract governance, and site-level procedures align with the CBRE Golden Standard and ownership objectives.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operational Excellence: Partner with the Sr. PM to identify and implement "Elevate" service delivery enhancements for high-profile tenants.
  • Financial Stewardship: Lead the preparation of advanced monthly forecasting and ownership reports, presenting data-driven insights to management.
  • Strategic Accounting Oversight: Oversee the full-cycle AP/AR process, including the audit and approval of vendor invoices, tenant billings, and complex expense reconciliations.
  • Contract Governance: Manage the database of management and leasing contracts, ensuring 100% accuracy and supporting the seamless execution of new agreements.
  • Systems & Data Integrity: Act as the lead for data integrity across all property systems (Yardi/MRI), ensuring that compliance and financial reporting are unassailable.
  • Compliance Leadership: Ensure the asset remains in full compliance with company policy, real estate law, and regional guidelines; participate in the Asset Services internal audit process.
  • Training & Onboarding: Facilitate the communication of best practices and train new team members on property-specific administration, governance, and the "Golden Standard" of service.
  • Transition Support: Assist the transition team with the efficient onboarding of incumbent staff and the management of high-stakes asset transitions.
  • Problem Solving: Gather and analyze complex operational data to solve site-level challenges, recommending innovative techniques to improve team efficiency.

 


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent experience) with 3–5 years of commercial property management or real estate finance experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual or complex financial content in a concise, executive-level manner.
  • Advanced math skills and an inquisitive mindset focused on financial precision and process improvement.
