The CBRE Project Management team provides an integrated service offering to both public and private sector clients across several areas including project direction and management, health services and facility planning and strategic advisory. We are experienced in both planning and delivery of health services from clinical and support services planning through to commissioning, post occupancy evaluation and benefits realisation. 

Our well-established approach to health planning is collaborative, evidence based and rigorous to optimise health service delivery, better meet the needs of the population and to align existing health service arrangements with changing patterns of need, making the most effective use of current and future health resources.

Here's what you’ll achieve;
  • Create and deliver innovative and efficient solutions for high-profile projects with government clients.
  • Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for projects including planning, design, construction, commissioning and handover.  
  • Consult directly with clients to define project requirements, build and write business case documents, project feasibility reports, design and planning, prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, scheduling, quality control, and risk identification. 
  • Identify project delivery resources, manage consultant and contractor procurement processes; completes RFT response analysis; lead evaluation interviews, and guide and recommend resources to clients to achieve project goals.  
  • Manage communications with all project stakeholders and participants, implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Comprehend complex documents including agreements/contracts, leases, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
  • Track and report on progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, timelines, variances, and assess change requests and provide recommendations to clients. 
  • Identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation, contingency and action plans, and implement to reduce or eliminate project risks.

Here are some of the strengths and experience you’ll have to help us deliver;
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study.
  • Experience in Project Management for government funded and led projects, with particular focus on Health projects in Australia. 
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, management, stakeholders and client groups and respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Demonstrable confidence and maturity in communication and have the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents, financial terms and principles, prepare project budgets and reports. 
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. 
  • Creative problem solver, with logical and analytical thought processes who thrives in complex situations.
  • Highly organized, with ability to remain task focused and work to strict deadlines.
  • Competent in MS Office with demonstrated knowledge across MS Project, contracts, construction practices and able to read and understand architectural drawings.
