About the Role 

The successful applicant will have the chance to work on a Premium Commercial Precinct in the heart of Melbourne, for a Key Client Account; Charter Hall, who have one of the largest commercial office portfolio’s in Australia. 

The role of Assistant Facilities Manager provides high level support to the Facilities Management team in an operational, financial, project, administrative and customer service capacity.

Primary areas of focus include planned and preventative maintenance works, contractor management, compliance, operational expenditure, tenancy delivery and stakeholder engagement. 

Here's a snapshot of your day
  • Assisting the Facilities Management team with day to day operations of a premium Commercial Asset
  • Co-coordinating planned and preventative works including site attendance and meetings
  • Carrying out site inspections and reporting functions
  • Co-ordination of purchase order and invoice processing
  • Ensure tenant satisfaction through enabling the efficient, cost-effective operation and maintenance of all services
  • Assisting the Facilities Management team with operational expenditure and budgeting
  • Co-ordination of compliance and legislative tracking and adherence
  • Assisting with construction, fit out and capital works projects
  • Maintaining and updating asset registers, supporting documentation and equipment

  • Experience in facilities management with a strong focus on sophisticated commercial properties
  • Contractor management experience within a commercial building environment
  • Excellent customer service and service delivery skills
  • Ability to manage several functions and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
