RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing general support functions, moderate research and financial analysis of multifamily properties, loans and portfolios for Portfolio Managers within the asset and risk management of multifamily agency loans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for monitoring a portfolio of loans; performs quarterly financial statement analysis and review of 3rd party inspections.
Tracks market and submarket performance and forecasts for assigned cities. Conducts research for territory markets not covered by main industry research firms; identifies and analyzes macroeconomic issues in assigned markets.
Tracks major loan events such as interest-only expiration, hedge expirations, loan maturity; analyzes potential impacts on performance.
Provides customer service support to assigned loan producers and clients. Works with loan servicing company to meet client needs and requests.
Prepares various portfolio monthly and quarterly reports.
Performs Fannie and Freddie mandated inspections of assigned properties as required.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university required. Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Inspection Certification preferred. Will be required to obtain and meet Fannie/Freddie certification requirements.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Suite Products including: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Some travel maybe required.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
