We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Team Leader to join our Property Management Division and supervise the Accounts Payable Team.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, this role will be responsible for coaching and providing guidance to the General Processing Centre (GPC) offshore as well as managing, reviewing and allocating workload to a small Brisbane based team.

Here’s a snapshot of your day:
  • Leadership of the Brisbane based team as well as a large team located offshore
  • Developing a team-based culture dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and value-add to both internal clients; Property Managers and external clients; Building Owners
  • Coordinating work load allocation, reviewing tasks and assisting with queries
  • Coordinating and engaging staff in regular team meetings
  • Ensuring Trust Accounts are maintained in accordance with the legislative requirements applicable within individual States
  • Processing complex transactions including invoice generation, receipts and reallocation, property and tenant maintenance as well as query management
  • Assisting in the development and execution of internal control policies and procedures to limit the opportunities for fraudulent mis-appropriation of client assets
Here are some of the strengths you’ll have to help us deliver;
  • Extensive experience in an Accounts Receivable role and previous experience managing a large team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships quickly with stakeholders
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • A customer-centric approach
  • Previous experience in MRI or YARDI systems would be highly advantageous
